Ryan Christensen just wanted to be an actor. Never in his wildest dreams did he ever think he'd become the most sought after film star on the planet. Taryn Mitchell has been feigning contentment while running the family pub in Seaport, Rhode Island. It started out wordy and insecure; given that it's 659 pages and a brick, I was a little worried at first.
Fortunately, once Taryn (our narrator and main character) gets comfortable, the pace smooths out beautifully, and the novel is a delight of strong, intelligent characters, believable plot, and sultry romance.
