Personally, I feel this story is too much of a resemblance to the CW's hit show supernatural. I'm in love with the show and can't help, but compare the two. If you've ever seen the show you would see where this writer got her inspiration from. Personally, I feel Dru is too dark and depressing for my liking. I would much rather see her have at least a slight sense of humor to provide some comic relief. The brothers in Supernatural keep me entertained because of their witty banter. Dru's friend Graves makes so sense to me. There is no reasoning behind his infatuation with the main character. The half-vampire she attempts to spark a triangle with is too bland for my taste. This is nothing like Buffy! There's no elements of the hit tv show in this. Buffy has a personality you can't help but love. This character makes me feel depressed.
