Killer's Kiss is William Lashner's seventh Victor Carl novel, and it's one of his best. This time Carl is caught in the middle of the murder of his ex-fiance's husband. Is he being set up by her or does she really want to rekindle their old flame? Carl isn't sure. It looks like he has lots of reasons to want her husband dead. As usual, Lashner keeps the reader guessing as he unravels the mystery. In the book's final scene, he masterfully pulls together all the major players and explains everything. Except for one small section, the book moves briskly.
